Purpose of the Project Guide

This document is designed to guide you through the different steps of your project and offer valuable hints along the way. However, it is not a detailed step-by-step manual. Instead, it encourages you to develop the skills of coming up with your way of solving different tasks. This approach allows you to apply the knowledge and tools you've gained through DataCamp.

Since data science principles transcend specific programming languages, we'll describe the general approach in the main text. Having understood the bigger picture and starting with the tasks, you will find language-specific tips and tricks in visually separated boxes (R -Track : , Python - Track : ). Questions might arise, or you might not know how to solve a task right away—but don’t worry—this is just part of coding. In such cases, you can seek assistance from your team members. If they're unable to help, and in rare cases where even Google proves unhelpful, TechAcademy mentors are available for support via Slack or in-person during coding meetups.

At the end of the project guide, you will find an overview of all tasks to be completed, according to your track (beginner or advanced). You can use this list to check which tasks you still need to complete or which assignments are relevant for your track.
